It should not really surprise me at all, May was pretty full on and fueled by adrenaline, and that energy is borrowed and there is always payback with CFS and Fibromyalgia, so I knew that June would be more lows than highs and the only trips I made on good days were up to Toward and Benmore Botanical Gardens.
I also had to take it easy before the annual trip to the Farne Islands early July.
Last year I said the All Day Bird Watch was my last and that I would only do the afternoon trip to the Inner Farne, I decided to give the All Day Bird Watch another go this year again, I didn't want to let my companions down, but it was far to much of a struggle the terrain is just far too difficult now, so I was limited to the first section, being regularly checked on by Janice's boys.
My brother came back home with me to revamp my garden as I can no longer cope with it, all that remains to be done now is my pond to go in a little clearing out of the old shed and the planting up of the garden and to be more wildlife friendly.
I never like to plan things too far ahead just in case I am not up to it when it comes around, so the May trip was a small seed in my head back in December 2017, and asked permission in January from the GP to make that trip but it took another month to start sorting it out.
It's a hard habit to break and although I have known for a year that my cousin and his wife have booked up for Orkney and always invite me along it is only this week I have started sorting the travel plans for that trip in just less than three weeks time, Orkney here I come.
However as I said in my last blog I left Jersey with a heavy heart, as there was so much I wanted to do and see, and despite trying to push myself it was just impossible to fit it into a five nights stay.
Now I have really taken the bull by the horns and on the 19th July I booked a two week holiday in Jersey for May 2019, So that's 280 Sleeps to go (9 months or 40 weeks) Excited!! well just a little Lol
