A few weeks later I was told the results were inconclusive, and had to be redone, already my trip to the farnes and my two weeks in Orkney were on hold at the end of May I had the procedures redone, and while waiting for the results I made the decision to cancel Orkney and put the Farnes on hold depending on the results.
It is amazing what goes through your mind, even with the support of Family and a few friends that knew,
the waiting was the worst, the medical team were all awesome, finally on the 19th of June I got the biopsy results, ....... no cancer present, my consultant looked at me and said now go enjoy your photography, enjoy the Farnes and don't forget to send me puffin photo's.
I came home and after letting those that knew the good news I booked the Farnes trip, and the end of 4 months of waiting and wondering, it has certainly put a lot of things into perspective
On the 4th July we arrived in Seahouses, the 5th we headed out on the All Day Birdwatch. to the Farne Islands, then home on the 6th, then the following day I went to pick up my new car,
Now all I need to do is organise some nice trips out, and possibly a nice wee holiday or short break.
