Seahouses is a large village on the Northumberland Coast and is still a fishing port, but also in the spring and summer trips to the Farne Islands to see Seals, Puffins and other seabirds The Farne Islands are also famous for Grace Darling daughter of a lighthouse keeper on Longstone Island when she became a heroine after helping her father rescue survivors from the Forfarshire which had run aground onto the Harcar rocks, about a mile along is Bamburgh in St Aidan's Grace is buried with her parents and siblings, there is also a memorial to here there, Grace was born on the 24th Nov 1815 and died 20th October 1842,
