One of my trips out was to Edinburgh, not so much a photography trip but to see if anything could be recovered from the external drive, sadly nothing was recovered, so on the journey home I decided to take a different route home and go through Fife to Culross, It was the hottest day we had last month, traffic was horrendous, partly due to one of the main routes being blocked by an overturned lorry, roadworks for the new Queensferry Crossing, and of course folks out for the day because of the good weather, by the time I reached Culross everything was closing, however I did manage to get a few shots before heading for home.
So August..........apart from trying nervously and unsuccessfully to photograph the lightning storms at 2am I had not been out. This week when I went down to Girvan for a few days photography with my brother.
I had a great few days, albeit the weather was not good I did manage to get some photos of the wildlife and we had a midnight ramble out with the camera and a torch to look for insects, so now back home I am sifting through my images to see which ones are worth keeping, one of the problems I faces with the weather was having to bump up the ISO to get the shutter speed I needed Oh and I also photographed a Grey Squirrel! I can't believe it myself ......... I need to get out and photograph the Red Squirrels soon.
At the moment I have not planned my next trip, so many places I want to see, and do .... Will upload images to the website soon, so watch this space! xx
