2011 I was asked to take some photos at the Cowal Fest Riding event by a friend who had also been one of my late husband's nurses in the hospice.
Cowal Fest is a yearly event which lasts for 2 weeks to encourage people to get out and enjoy the countryside and the Arts.
In 2012, I was asked if I could help with some photographs which I did and one of these was used on their posters, which is once again being used for the 2013 event.
I was contacted for some local photographs by David Urquhart Travel.
They used my image of the Victorian Pier in Dunoon, in their 2013 brochure.
I was surprised, when dance teacher, Ash McTeese, said she had an article in Full House Magazine, which included one of the photos I had taken for her,
She also an article published in the “Burlesque Bible Magazine” which included images I had taken for her.
I was also asked by Wildlife Crime Aware, if they could use one of my squirrel photos, for their campaign against wildlife crime.
It was a pleasure to help such a good cause.
I have also been lucky to have two of my photos published in Scotland Outdoors -Readers Adventures, in issue 26 September/October 2014, A Large Red Damselfly and in issue 28 January/February 2015 one of my Crested Tit shots.
I was also contacted via my website by RGBE to ask if I would be a volunteer photographer, that they could use my photos in their guidebooks and members book,
Talks
The first talk I had given was a member's talk at the camera club,
I was asked if I would give a presentation and talk in January 2014 at Mid-Argyll Camera Club, which I thoroughly enjoyed doing.
Since then, I have given a few talks at Cowal Camera Club.
